Farm Saved Seed Assistants | Wigtoft

Farm Saved Seed Assistants | Wigtoft

We are looking for a Seasonal Farm Saved Seed (FSS) Assistant to join our team for the 2026 harvest season.

As a Seasonal FSS Assistant, you’ll be working outdoors, travelling to farms across Wigtoft, Southery and beyond, and getting hands-on with specialist agricultural machinery that helps farmers prepare their seed for the upcoming season.

What is FSS?

Farm Saved Seed (FSS) is the area of our business that helps farmers clean, treat and prepare their seed ahead of each drilling season.

At Agrii, we process over 50,000 tonnes of seed every year using a modern fleet of high-capacity mobile machines.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assisting with on-farm machine set-up
  • Helping to clean, treat and process seed
  • Travelling between farms throughout the region
  • Supporting daily operations and carrying out additional tasks as required

This is practical, physical work — ideal for those who enjoy being outdoors and want an active role during agriculture’s busiest time of year.

Why join Agrii this harvest?

  • Hourly pay with excellent overtime opportunities
  • Hands-on experience with professional agricultural machinery
  • Work as part of a supportive, friendly team
  • Seasonal contract from August–October 2026 working Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work available

What we’re looking for

  • A full driving licence
  • Willingness to work long hours, including overtime
  • Comfortable with manual, outdoor work
  • Enthusiasm for farming and agriculture

These roles pay national minimum wage so the pay will vary depending on age.
